I have dealt with child bereavement cases, which are always upsetting.  It is something that you never recover from psychologically. John McQuater, President of APIL highlights in his recent article that when a child is deemed illegitimate and is killed by someone’s negligence, the father is not entitled to the same statutory compensation as the father of a legitimate child.  This is wrong and John rightly points out that this needs to be changed.  I support such a campaign and am ready to help anyone going through such a situation.
