One of the Government's schemes for business assistance during Coronavirus was the statutory sick pay (SSP) rebate scheme.  Under the scheme, employers who paid SSP to employees who were off sick or in self-isolation due to Covid coudl reclaim those costs from the Government. 

Employers will no longer be able to reclaim for periods of sickness or isolation which occur after 17 March 2022.

Employers will have untile 24 March 2022 to submit claims for periods of sickness or isolation occuring before the 17 March deadline, or to amend any existing claims.  Claims can be submitted here.
