We are currently looking for an experienced private client solicitor to join our team. You should be at least 2 years PQE. 

The team itself currently has 3 fee earners, 2 of whom are full members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). The firm works predominatly on high net worth and techncial estate planning, trust and probate matters, often with a cross-border element. For this reason the ideal candidate will either already be STEP Quallfied, or looking to gain this qualification.

You should have experience of the following types of work:

• Taking testamentary instructions and drafting wills includiung the use of life interest and discretionary trusts

• Taking probate instructions and administering both testate and intestate estates

• Advising on the use of lifetime trusts and assisting with the administration of ongoing trusts

• Advising on and preparing powers of attorney (lasting, general, advanced directives) 

Any additional experience you have with the Court of Protection would be helpful.
