We are always looking for exceptional private client lawyers to join our team. We would consider any level of experience, but a desire (even if no current experience) to work with HNW and more complicated estate and trust work is a must.

The firm works predominatly on high net worth and technical estate planning, trust and probate matters, often with a cross-border element. For this reason the ideal candidate will either already be STEP Qualified, or looking to gain this qualification.

You should have experience of the following types of work:

• Taking testamentary instructions and drafting wills including the use of life interest and discretionary trusts

• Taking probate instructions and administering both testate and intestate estates

• Advising on the use of lifetime trusts and assisting with the administration of ongoing trusts

• Advising on and preparing powers of attorney (lasting, general, advanced directives) 

Any additional experience you have with the Court of Protection would be helpful.
