Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a medical condition of chronic widespread pain with heightened pain response. This may also include tiredness and may affect activities and cause sleep problems and memory. This could also cause restless leg syndrome, bowel and bladder.  Some people report numbness and tingling and sensitivity to noise, light and temperature.  This can be associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (“PTSD”) and other types of the chronic pain.  Fibromyalgia is a recognised disorder.  Fibromyalgia may be caused by an accident or exacerbated by one.
